Fasting -
Is depriving your body of food that is essential in providing energy,
rebuilding body cells and keeping the body healthy. When we go without food for
twenty-four hours the body goes into crisis mode.
The body
realized that to many hours have pass without any vital commodity from which,
the nutrients needed can possible be derived. Immediately the body without our
help goes into protection mode.
The first
thing that happened is; because no nutrients are taken into the body the body
put an immediate lock-down on the excretion of solid waste. Because the
intestines is a store room or usable nutrients they are shut off. It is from
here the body is able to utilized the stored-up waste that should have been
disposed of; in to useful nutrients.
The next
thing that happened the body began to push the mind to eat. It gets pain such
as belly pains, hunger pains, headaches, migraines, etc. all in an effort to
force you to eat so thing can go back to normal.
Always
remember the body is not in any critical position or in any danger. This is
just the body's effort to have things go back to normal.
The first
day of fasting is always the hardest day. Once you get passed the first day,
you will have to contend with the daily bout of weakness, here and there. Just
remember this is the body still trying to force you back to an eating practice
that it considered normal.
